Oh, wait - this is actually sort of cool news, for me. I am going to participate in a 5k race this weekend. I'm just walking it, but it's a secret fitness goal I've had for a while, to do something like this, so I'm kind of excited. We've done a couple of preparatory sessions with our trainer over what turns out to be part of the course, even, so I'm really quite certain I can do it. I'm not trying for a particular time or anything, just participating and finishing.
The weekend forecast also includes pancakes! Heh heh.
