in which I thwart Verizon's website and force it to sell me the item I want

I know, you'd think that if you want to give a company some money and purchase a product from them they'd be more than happy to fulfill your request. But it took a fair bit of poking and prodding before I could finally get the headset type I wanted, even after I discovered they carried the damn thing for my handset model. Then it wouldn't let me go back and add anything else to my cart.

But my Jabra over-the-ear headset at least should be on its way, and I'll see if I still need the additional cabling after it arrives. And I spent considerably less than I would have if I'd gone with my reluctant second choice.
