I just spent nearly an hour trying to get Consumer to let me give them money, with no luck. Mostly because Consumer Reports-the-print-magazine and Consumer are different but the same. I could go on at length, but it's my usual complaint: the minute you step off the path of the least common denominator, the minute you have a problem that is different from the median problems the trouble-shooters get asked about, you're SOL.

If I'm having trouble logging in that doesn't involve forgetting user name or password, for example, I get the online version of a blank stare - and not much help, incidentally.
