Finished The Blind Assassin. (Yes, I read exceptionally rapidly, especially when that's all I'm doing.) Very clever mystery, in addition to the beautiful, vivid characters Atwood always draws. I thought I'd figured it out, realized I was wrong, then thought I was wrong again, and still only turned out to be half right. Impressive, and I'm not surprised it won the awards it did. Highly recommended.

The magnesium appears to have restored my lateral movement, and greatly reduced the pain of standing up/sitting down, but I'm still getting twinges/spasms when I sit, so I'm probably going to haul myself off to the doctor tomorrow, abiding I can get in.
