Volume 11 of the Babylon 5 Scripts of J. Michael Straczynski
This volume is a tear-jerker, with the scripts for Sleeping In Light, The Deconstruction of Falling Stars, Endgame, The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari, No Compromises, Rising Star, and The Paragon of Animals. Also, very interesting and well worth the price of admission, a just-the-facts blow-by-blow description in the introduction of the crazy-ass whirlwind that was the renewal of the show for the fifth season and the departure of Claudia Christian.

The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman
This went rapidly, and I may re-read it before I return it to the library. Second of the "His Dark Materials" trilogy, which I finally tracked down and started mainly because Sarah Vowell mentioned enjoying them when we saw her speak last month. Now I discover there is to be a movie of the first novel via the flash-meme making the rounds.

My daemon a la the movie site.
