Was it just around me today, or were the roads crazy? The drivers of all the buses I had to ride seemed determined to dash between stops and spill passengers left and right in the process. I wonder if someone rounded them all up and lectured them on keeping schedule? Trying to cross the street in Queen Anne is always a challenge, but seemed moreso today - perhaps only in the light of the bus trips, but still.

My teeth are cleaned and rewired, and so I have a headache, am hungry, and have no desire for food whatsoever. Oh, and the damned ants are making one last incursion before it gets too cold, hurrah.

I'm sure I'll feel better after an advil and some dinner, and maybe a short nap.

I think some of it around here was the start of school and all the younglings going to and from school with iternerant handlers, possees and whatnot.

Good point - that reminds me how my wire-puller was telling me how her kids went back to school last week because they attend a catholic school. (Hmm, that should probably be "C" rather than "c" - but she didn't say for sure, so I'll just pretend she meant it was extra-inclusive.)

Was that a deliberate reference to the old song?

No, that song hadn't reminded itself to me yet. One by one is bad enough, thanks.
