I am taking a break from looking at ads for apartments for rent, because I'm tired of throwing the addresses into Google Maps and seeing the familiar outline of SeaTac airport heave into view. Will someone please explain to me how Burien and West Seattle get conflated so often? Is it so wrong to want to live north of Roxbury? Am I crazy to think that searching for apartments in Seattle should return results actually within the city limits? Sigh.
