I've been trying to figure out if there is buried pirate treasure or some great work of art in New Orleans (outside of the city itself.)? It seems that the government is going to great lengths to make sure the city is emptied, even of people that would not possibly be in danger if food and water was available. It reminds me of one of those great caper movies where they need to get all the patrons out of the museum so there are no witnesses. Holy hell. I for one am now working under the assumption that, should a big earthquake hit Seattle, FEMA will come in, turn back aid workers at gunpoint, cut our communication lines, and request one small truck from San Francisco. Perhaps I'll become a ham radio operator. Dear President Bush: the idea is to send in the cavalry. You have sent in the cavalier. |
