I really wish I had time at the moment to go read the Downing Street Memo, since from what I see it sounds suspiciously like my own thoughts on the matter are being confirmed. I got there via the Most Cynical Route, so I'd like to see if it says anything about the lack of WMDs being part of why Bush chose to invade Iraq, or if it was just another part of the bucket of hogwash he was selling. I'd find it mildly reassuring to think he thought enough to think as far as not wanting to go down in history as the president who started a nuclear war (skuse me, nukelar), and so not wanting to attack anyone who could actually push the button was a conscious part of the strategy.

Maybe I'll get a chance to look at it this weekend.
