how could I forget!

I finished my first knitting project and started on my second. This is another eyelash scarf, in a variegated green-to-blue yarn, and a trifle wider (20 st instead of 15). This one is for my mother's birthday - March 26th, so I should be able to finish without any trouble.

Really, the trick at this point is moderation, as it would be a shame to give myself some RSI from knitting - after managing to avoid it otherwise despite the massive amounts of typing and hand-writing I do.

I still have to wonder how tricky and time consuming it would be to make stuff like this for sale. Part of me really yearns to work at something concrete, where I have a pile of whatevers at the end of the day I can point at and feel accomplished. But another part of me is really fond of eating, and electric lights, and so forth.
