sometimes the system works (?)

I researched the Websense categories to find out what exactly constituted a Malicious Web Site, determined that LJ in no way met the criteria, and sent them an email from their "Suggest a change" page on the website. They sent me a note back that LJ was properly classified as a bulletin board/blog site in their latest database, and to make sure we were running #xxxx. Lo and behold, today I can access Live Journal again from work[1]. Hurrah!

I felt strangely cut off without it, even though there are days I don't really check it from work at all. I guess I just really like having someplace to shunt the voices in my head.

[1]At least until The Powers That Be decide to formally forbid blog sites, that is.
