Government unveils computer emergency response team
The Homeland Security Department on Monday announced the creation of a U.S. Computer Emergency Response Team that is designed to become the country's premier "CERT," superseding the private-sector center long run by Carnegie Mellon University.

What about A-76? What about smaller government, and moving jobs to competing bids with the private sector? Granted, the CMU group is funded by DoD, so I suppose it only appears that a government body is being created to do something the private sector is currently doing. I feel like I slept through another Administration u-turn, somehow.
