"for your irritation"

"For your protection", "for your comfort", "for your convenience" - these phrases all inevitably presage items or events I find neither safe, comfortable, nor convenient.

Aside from the fact that those making such claims are lying through their teeth, the presumption that the claimants know what I want better than I do is extremely galling.
