Yesterday was quite long. First of all, the dentist appointment took five hours. Yes, that is correct, I was in the chair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Still made it to my pshrink appointment at 2:00 p.m. but only because I could catch the bus there just across the street from the building my dentist is in. Whew. But I have teeth again, and pretty ones too. If I can take a picture I'm happy with on my cell phone I'll post it.

So I left the house at 7:15 a.m. and got back about 9:15 p.m. - and that was only by the grace of getting a ride home from one of my co-groupees. I was in some pain at the end of the day, but from the anesthetic injections rather than the work of putting the veneers on. Today I'm feeling pretty good.

apocalypse immanent

If you happen to run across any rampaging horsemen, I do apologize. But really did have to buy more minutes for my phone. This, after upgrading to a plan that already had 200 more than the old plan. It's only the 11th, and I'd exceeded my quota and was heading stratospherically off into $0.45 a minute territory. Gak.

This is the first time I have ever, ever, EVER run over my minutes, in all the years I've had a cell phone (10? 11?) and in spite of always having the plan (until now) with the fewest minutes included. In spite, no less, having two lines on the plan with the fewest minutes included.

And then I went to treatment...

LIke I said, apparently recovery is all about being on the phone.
