|06:37 am - I'm with the cows|
I hate Daylight Savings Time. It messes up my time-sense something fierce, often right after I've finally gotten adjusted to the previous change six months earlier. I particularly dislike the springtime springing-forward's constant feeling of it's later than you think, which of course it both is and isn't. I should move to someplace sensible like Hawaii. My other choices are Arizona, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa, it seems. Hmm.

I think New Jersey abstains as well.
You could live with Sandy! *tongue so far in my cheek that it's annoying the person next to me*

You just want to see me up on charges for Murder One. Hrumph.
I still have to deal with other people dealing with it. Now I have to get my reports done and emails written an hour faster or wait until the next morning and miss deadlines. I should get up an hour earlier also.

I hate Daylight Savings Time!
It has the weird, WEIRD effect of making me feel exhausted and disoriented, whether it's adding or subtracting an hour. Nobody ever "gets" that, and I admit it isn't logical. I always hear "but we're GAINING an EXTRA HOUR! You can sleep in."
No, I can't "sleep in." For some reason, the anxiety of gaining an hour, just the whole unbalance of it, makes me stress so much I get tired. Or maybe it's that my basic level of exhaustion tempts me to overestimate that extra hour, and the illusion seems more than it is, and I get fooled into sleeping... and then I'm running all over, trying to catch up, because of course an hour isn't enough. It's just messy, and I hate it.
And maybe it's what you said, the springing-forward's constant feeling of it's later than you think. Yes! That. Anxiety = fatigue, for me.

I used to at least be happy when they gave me my hour back in the Fall. Now I'm too much of a curmudgeon even to muster that.
